I start today with a deep appreciation for how we are all connected and how something that affects one person touches so many others. Recently I made a new friend at work. I don’t recall quite how we found each other. I do recall that our initial contact was via email, which led to a call, which led to more email and another call scheduled. I don’t know what else to call it but a soul connection – two kindred spirits finding each other in the vastness of the big blue universe (we work for IBM). I think it’s so delicious that two people can form bonds of friendship without ever seeing each other in person. Here’s to my new friend Sunita, her big heart and her lovely soul shining bright.
lovely… I have also found several kindred spirits through social media and it amazes me how we find so much to share…
In this virtual world where words print out with the tips of fingers, spreading a smile across miles..brings heart closer and bonds real..I am soooooooooo happy for you 🙂
@ paula and kalabalu, so glad you experience this deliciousness, too! Kalabu, I love the way you put it!
Vicki – I’m honoured ! Kindred Spirits as the MasterCard ads say are “priceless”. Looking forward to talking more. As “coincidence” will have it, this Canadian girl is passing through Des Moines in August on the way to 3 weeks of camping in Colorado & Utah. So maybe we’ll meet in person 🙂
@sunita, no coincidences, for sure! when we talk next, let’s look at your travels through Iowa and see if we can arrange to meet in person!
You just never know where connections will be found..it is just our job be open and ready when they do appear..and it sounds like you both were! Enjoy!
Bonnie, I agree! Being open is key…Thanks!
I am so blessed that we’ve connected ♥
The feelings are mutual! I continue to be amazed at how powerful virtual relationships can be, and what great friends – like YOU – I can make through blogging!
I HEARTily agree! ♥♥♥
