Ergonomics that work

I was excited about coming to work after the Thanksgiving holidays.  Not because I had especially  important  meetings or particularly fun projects in which to immerse myself (there were some of those) – because I got a new desk for my home office over the weekend!  Jim helped me find a corner desk that gives me a larger keyboard tray and more surface work space.  I also got a Hon Ignition office chair (although I am using a loaner while I wait for mine to be delivered).  I used to sit ON my chair, now I sit IN my chair.  All this was inspired by nearly a month of on-off back strain and pain that made it obvious my work station was not optimally ergonomic.  I am enjoying settling into the new space and that ‘fresh start’ feeling.
